As you can see this painting is of a pair of pears. I haven't pared away much of the pear and certainly not on the pair of pears, just one. I guess once one pear is eaten they will no longer be a pair of pears, in fact I could possibly say that one pear has disappeared - not to ever reappear. Painted on canvas 254x305mm.
